MY ONLY HOME

Oh how you are the reflection
of the sun on the glossy Beach,
And I the shadows in the stones,
The in and out of the tides,
As I wait for the light.

To shine on your beautiful surfaces,
So that the sea
Could bring you to me,
Early in the Dawn,
And I say goodbye;

In the Twilight
When we are able
To touch, though we create
Crystals in the sand
The waves your hands, crashing

And we could hide in a cave,
Or wander the furthest we could,
On this magical Little Beach.
How I wish you could be with me
As I crawl on the earth,

Looking for shiny things
To give you,and the silhouette
Of your smile gets me through
Another day, longing
For a way that I could ride
Your waves back to my only home.
