I moved to Upton Park in East London a couple of years ago and I will soon be moving on again. Before I leave I want to document my time here, not just for my own memories but because it is one of the few places in London yet to be gentrified. Things are already changing here, losing the Boleyn football ground was significant for the area and I wanted to capture this moment in time.

I try to always take a camera out with me. I photographed the local characters i’ve met out and about and tried to capture the East End charm I have grown to love. These photos are all on 35mm film. I always use film as I love the random imperfections you can get.
