“Ingénue is the debut short film from director Levi Eddie Aluede. I took these photos to symbolise loneliness and childlike behaviours. I chose to shoot against the sun to get a warm feeling, to almost represent a ‘New Beginning’. My inspiration here was Yutaka Sakano’s shoot of Jean-Michel Basquiat. The idea of stillness and childlike behaviour.”
